A Wedding Cake fashionista, Debbie Jensen uses her early fashion background to stay on the cutting edge, while updating classic elegance. Celebration has always been her passion, and she honors “putting the sweet into life’s memorable moments.”
Before starting I Do’s by Deb, she operated “Debbie Does Dessert” in the San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years, catering high-end European-style pastries for top hotels and operating a Bakery Café in Marin County. There, she created cakes for 3 different American Presidents, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, members of The Grateful Dead, Journey, and many others.
But all of her clients are superstars on their most special day!
Debbie’s cake-designing career began in Paris after watching a Croquembouche (the traditional French wedding cake) demonstration at the famed Maxim’s restaurant. From then on, her path was set…. she became a classically trained Chef, and more recently a Certified Wedding Planner.
Over the years, she has refined French techniques, integrated and improved American baking style, and utilized organic and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible to maintain taste of the highest quality. It doesn’t matter how good a cake or dessert looks, if it’s not delicious!
