TWIG’s First Industry Gathering of 2026 at Edgewood

Connection. Collaboration. Community.
On May 19, 2026, nearly one hundred of Lake Tahoe’s most respected wedding professionals, hospitality leaders, creatives, planners, venues, photographers, designers, and event innovators gathered at the iconic Edgewood Tahoe Resort for the first Tahoe Wedding Industry Group (TWIG) Industry Gathering of the year.
Against the backdrop of Lake Tahoe’s crystal waters and snow-capped peaks, the day unfolded as more than an educational event—it became a celebration of collaboration, shared vision, and the collective effort required to elevate Tahoe as one of the world’s most sought-after wedding destinations.
As a curated community of vetted wedding professionals, TWIG exists to create meaningful opportunities for connection, referrals, education, visibility, and regional impact. This gathering served as a powerful reminder of what is possible when an industry chooses collaboration over competition. Welcoming One of the World’s Most Influential Wedding Planners
The highlight of the gathering was welcoming internationally renowned wedding planner Annie Lee, Founder of Daughter of Design and PLANNIE, to Lake Tahoe as our featured keynote speaker.
Recognized by Harper’s Bazaar as one of the world’s top wedding planners, Annie has spent decades shaping the luxury wedding industry through extraordinary celebrations, innovative business leadership, and a commitment to raising professional standards across the events world.
Known by many as "The Wedding Doctor" and "The Party Planner," Annie brought a refreshing and thought-provoking perspective to the Tahoe wedding community.
