TWIG’s Summer Meeting at Zephyr Lodge: A Day of Connection, Inspiration, and Gratitude

On June 26th, the Tahoe Wedding Industry Group gathered for a truly unforgettable summer event high above the treetops at Zephyr Lodge in Northstar, California. From the moment we arrived at Wild Pine Coffee in the Village for warm drinks and check-in, the day was filled with a sense of anticipation, connection, and shared purpose. The scenic gondola ride up the mountain set the stage for an inspiring afternoon.
At the summit, we were welcomed into Zephyr Lodge—a space made even more inviting thanks to the incredible support and coordination from Haley Murray and Jessica Skilton of the Northstar team. The rustic charm and panoramic views provided the perfect backdrop for what followed: a thoughtfully curated lunch reception, genuine networking, and meaningful dialogue among members of our creative community.
The day was beautifully documented by Delaney Mattson of Honey I Do, whose videography captured the heart and energy of the event so we can relive and share these moments for years to come. If you’re a member who wishes to see the whole talk, please email us for a link! Sarah@TahoeEngaged.com
Lunch flowed into lively conversation and connection, accompanied by the soulful sound of Dominic Pieranunzio, whose performance was made possible through the coordination of Michelle Erskine Entertainment. His music brought a relaxed and joyful energy to the gathering, enhancing the already vibrant atmosphere of the lodge.

Their insights resonated deeply with the group, prompting reflection, laughter, and a flurry of note-taking. The afternoon concluded with a robust Q&A session and an optional tour hosted by East West Hospitality, whose team, including Laura Santamaria, generously helped guests explore more of what Northstar has to offer. Recording of this talk are available for members only, please email us for the link to enjoy at home.
Throughout the event, the setting was made even more beautiful by the work of Meghon Shrewsbury of Love + Lupines. Her floral arrangements captured the spirit of summer in the Sierra, balancing wildness with elegance. The look and feel of the space were completed by elevated touches from Creative Coverings, thanks to the support of Julie Nobis, whose new farmer style checkered linens brought a beautiful finish to our tablescapes. And thanks to the talented Amanda Kluesner, every heartfelt moment and beautiful detail was captured, allowing us to share this special gathering with our wider TWIG community for years to come.
